I commenced my apprenticeship in 1972 at Collin Brothers of Loughborough Ltd and twenty years later in 1992 I founded my own company; English Rose Memorials was born.
We are based in Loughborough in Leicestershire and my staff is comprised of award-winning designers and long-serving letter cutters.
Our in-house experts (masons, designers and letter cutters) are talented, experienced craftsmen and we ensure all of our work (carried out in our own premisies in Loughborough) is to the highest standards. We are a BRAMM accredited memorial mason.
We keep a large stock of memorials and stones, which allows us to produce any standard memorial within 3 weeks of receiving approval from the local authority.
We seek out the best possible materials to work with including granites from India and China, and marble from Carrara, Italy.
Unless stated otherwise, the lettering on all granite memorials is finished in 23.5 carat gold leaf and all head stones where necessary are fitted with NAMM accredited anchor pins.
We can carry out extensive renovation work on all types of existing memorials, grave stones and headstones, and cover the region spanning approximately 50 miles from Loughborough in all directions.
